Interactions Amount

Understand interaction consumption and purchase more when needed.

Requires the Manage plan & billing user permission to edit.


Monthly Allotment

Interactions are any message, voice note, or email sent to or received by people in your audience, including any replies from an AI assistant or live representative.

Each plan provides an allotment of interactions per month for your company:

If that volume is surpassed then your audience, AI assistants, and live reps will be unable to start new conversations or communicate through existing conversations until the earlier of:

  • The monthly billing anniversary

  • Additional interactions are purchased


Topping Up

More interactions can be purchased for immediate use in these ways:

Current Plan
Purchase Method

  • Upgrade to the Lite plan

Lite, Pro, Total

  • Upgrade your plan; or,

Enterprise

  • Contact your Proto account rep; or,

Additional Interactions Bundles

These bundles are one-time purchases for the Lite, Pro, and Total plans.

Each bundle provides an additional 2,500 interactions, consumable within the current monthly billing period.

To purchase:

  1. Expand the toolbar with the Proto icon button, if it's not already.

  2. In the expanded toolbar is the company's monthly interactions counter. Select Get more to go to the Stripe checkout page.

  3. Update the Qty button to edit the number or bundles for purchase.

  4. Complete checkout. Purchased interactions are available for immediate use.

Additional Interactions Bundles do not carry over to the subsequent monthly billing period. For example, if you purchase 5,000 additional interactions on the 10th day of the month, and the billing anniversary falls on the 25th, the company will be able to consume the additional interactions until the 25th. The total interactions resets to the plan's allotment on the monthly billing anniversary.
