# Email Templates

{% hint style="info" %}
The number of email templates available depends on the subscription plan. Requires the **Manage/View email template alerts & domains** permission.
{% endhint %}

Email templates are ready-made email replies that can be applied to ticket threads — for example, a thank-you email after ticket resolution.

Go to **Settings → Teamspace → Email Templates**.

***

## Create or edit an email template

1. Select an existing template from the table, or select **Create Email Template**.
2. Configure the options in the opened subpage:

| Field           | Description                                                                |
| --------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Name** | Internal name of the template (not the subject line). |
| **Description** | Internal description to distinguish templates. |
| **Content** | Toggle between **HTML** (raw markup) and **Editor** (interactive builder). |

The Editor supports Bold, Italic, Strikethrough, Insert Link, Ordered List, Unordered List, Insert Image, Insert Emoji, and Insert Variable (such as the person's name or a ticket's custom field). [Markdown syntax](https://www.markdownguide.org/cheat-sheet/) can also be used in the editor for headings, lines, and more.

3. Select **Save**, or **Back to all templates** to cancel.

***

## Delete an email template

1. Select the template from the table.
2. In the opened subpage, select **Delete Email Template** and confirm.

***
