The Messenger channel allows chatbots and agents to chat with customers via Facebook Messenger. This guide outlines the steps to deploy a Messenger channel.

How to deploy a Messenger channel

To begin deploying using Messenger, navigate to the Chatbots tab and click on Channels. To create a new channel, click on + Create Channel.

A new window will open. Select Facebook Messenger, add a name for the channel, and select the default language.

Once the new channel is created, click on the channel you just created and open the Connected Page tab. Click on Login with Facebook and select the Business Page you want to connect. After connecting the page, click the toggle button to enable it.
