Profiles in the Proto AICX platform are equivalent to employee biographies in a contact centre.

General info

To edit your profile on Proto's AICX platform, follow these steps:

1. Click the profile icon located in the bottom left corner of the screen.

2. Select Account settings from the popover menu.

3. On the opened page you can edit the following information:

   • Avatar

   • First and Last Name

   • Preferred language

   • Enable browser notifications

Additionally user email is shown. This field is impossible to edit.

User aliases

An alias is a convenient feature on the AICX platform that allows users to adopt an alternative name for their communication. This feature comes in handy for agents as they can chat with customers using an alias instead of their private account name.

To create an alias, simply click on plus icon inside the User aliases section.

A popup window will appear, prompting you to upload your avatar and enter your desired display name for alias, additionally Email signature name and content should be filled. Once done, click on Create button to create your new alias.

You can also choose to set the new alias as the default identity for your profile by ticking the checkbox for Set as default.

Note! Users can have either zero or one default alias. If a user already has a default alias and selects another one as default, the previous default alias will be automatically deselected.

To modify an existing alias, hover over it and click to edit, or click the cross icon inside alias to delete it. A pop-up will appear to confirm your deletion choice.
